Member Spotlight: James Richfield
James Richfield is the founder and owner of Richfield & Co., a Nashville exterior remodeling company focused on high quality residential and commercial roofing. He launched the company in November 2025 after more than eight years in the roofing industry, building it to serve local homeowners and businesses with honesty, clear communication, and a level of detail he found missing in the trade. His mission for the company is simple: dependable service and lasting quality that homeowners can trust for years to come.
Before going out on his own, Richfield spent nearly nine years at Music City Roofers, rising from Director of Business Operations and Sales to General Manager and Senior Account Executive. Along the way he generated more than $5.5 million in roofing sales, led large scale projects exceeding $1 million in retail value, and played a key role in the company’s merger into Feazel Inc., a top 50 roofing company in the United States. During that integration he oversaw daily operations, sales, and production while keeping the team’s culture and profitability intact.
A Belmont University alum, he got his entrepreneurial start in college with Sok a Joe, a coffee bean air freshener brand he founded in 2013, and interned at The Refinery Nashville, a coworking space.
Music City Work Club is pleased to include James Richfield among its member community.
