Member Spotlight: Judd Snyder
Judd Snyder is a Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and storyteller who performs as Judd Like a River. His work sits at the intersection of poetry and folk music, pairing spoken word and storytelling with minimalist production and dreamy pop soundscapes. The project takes its name from his lifelong nickname, which has Hebrew origins meaning “to flow down,” and his guiding ideal follows from it: to flow with the river of life, wherever it leads.
In 2025 Snyder made the leap to pursue music full time, rallying supporters to fund the project and releasing the single “Sometimes You Have to Leave” followed by River Songs, a five song EP that blends original music with inspirational stories and spoken word.
He is now developing a self-titled studio album in three phases, from dream demos to a roots collection to the finished record, and has launched keynote concerts, a format that brings music and storytelling to conferences and events. His music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube, and he describes his themes as spirituality, longing, and perseverance.
We are proud to have Judd Snyder as part of the Music City Work Club community.
