Member Spotlight: M.B. Roberts

M.B. Roberts is a Nashville-based journalist, author, and podcaster. Over her career she has written 18 books, mostly pop culture and sports titles — including The Honky Tonk Truth: The Brooks & Dunn Story, Jug Fishing for Greazy and Other Brad Paisley Fishing Stories (with Brad Paisley), and a series of sports handbooks with longtime Sports Illustrated photographer Ron Modra.

As a senior features editor at Parade magazine, she interviewed everyone from Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Rosanne Cash to Marie Kondo and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and edited Parade's popular "What People Earn" series. In early 2024 she created and now hosts Let's Talk Ladies: Conversations Across Generations (@lets_talkladiespodcast, on Spotify and Apple), a podcast interviewing women ages 20 to 90 about the life topics nobody talks about, alongside co-hosts Trish Vogel and Katie Neal; guests have included Stacy London and Jean Chatzky. She also writes about technology and publishes a Substack at mbroberts.substack.com.

We are proud to have M.B. Roberts as part of the Music City Work Club community.
